Chris Appleton, Kim Kardashian’s hairstylist, has filed for divorce from his husband, Lukas Gage.
Appleton cited their split date as Friday, November 10 in court records filed on Monday morning. He cited “irreconcilable differences” as the cause for the divorce and stated that they had a prenup.
According to TMZ, Chris’ decision was not easy because he reportedly tried everything he could to make the marriage work. He was also advised to make the best decision for himself going forward.
Appleton, 40, and, 28, were married in a Vegas ceremony at the Little White Chapel in April with the help of Kim and Shania Twain.
It was a really fast-paced romance. They made their relationship public in February during a trip to Mexico, and they became engaged just a few weeks before their Vegas wedding.
