Investigations into those behind the brutal murder of Nairobi businessman Jacob Juma has brought to light the secret life of a young girl operating in Nairobi as an escort.
Police have been following crucial leads into the last moments of the slain businessman. In tracing his last moments, it emerges the last person to enjoy the company of the billionaire was a young, beautiful woman with a slight mother tongue accent.
Police have learnt that the girl had been picked from town by a cab guy, with strict orders from Juma, and delivered to his secret apartment in the plush Westlands suburb.
But it is a secret conversation between the city girl and the cab guy that ushers the public into her flesh peddling business.
Apparently, a team of journalists tracing the girl asked the cab guy to stage a phone call and probe hero n how she parted with Juma on that fateful day.
It is via the call that she opens up on her dirty secrets. She lives in the city by her sexual wits.
She said it was the first time she was meeting Juma as a high-end client and they spent a super 45 minutes in Juma’s secret bedroom.
The girl sounds in an investigative piece by KTN Jicho Pevu’s team terrified in the call and even tells the taxi guy that she doesn’t know what to do because her parents ‘ni wakali sana na siwezi taka wajue hii maisha’ (My parents are so tough I don’t want them to know I am a hooker.)
The girl’s age, whose identity has been revealed by the KTN investigative desk, has not been revealed but she says she still lives with her parents in Nairobi’s South B.
A press statement by the police indicate that at least 3 girl friends of the businessman have recorded statements with the police over his murder, including “a lawyer at a well-known city firm.”
“The deceased sent her (the lawyer) KES 30,000 on the fateful day. She was to meet the deceased in the evening at Rose Apartment but the deceased switched off his phone and instead met another lady,” reads part of the statement.
