Award-winning musician Moozlie has given fans her first offering for 2019 titled S’funukwazi taken off her debut album Victory.
The song was recorded at The Redbull Studios in Cape Town and was co-produced by SA Hip Hip heavyweights Gemini Major & PsykoBeatz.
The S’funukwazi visuals were shot & directed by Ofentse Mwase and see the Nomuzi Mabena Music boss ruling the streets alongside Phresh Clique who worked on the banger with Moozlie in the Mother City last year.
As always, Moozlie kills it with the swag in the video as she has enlisted the styling & choreography services of upcoming superstar of the century Mr All of It.
“The video is a celebration of the spirit of the hood,” said the rapper.
“The fact that there’s always something happening on the streets and that you’re never really alone. Most importantly, it celebrates that it doesn’t matter how far you may go, or how old you grow, that spirit never really leaves you.” Moozlie says she used that spirit when writing & shooting this video and she hopes that people will relate to that spirit when they watch it.
The release of the video follows her career highlighting win at the 2018 South African Hip Hop Awards where she took Best Female.
