Renowned Tanzanian Radio Presenter, Isaac Gamba Dies in Bonn, Germany

Renowned Tanzanian Radio Presenter Isaac Muyenjwa Gamba based in Bonn, Germany is dead.
Gamba who was working with Deutsche Welle popularly knowns as DW passed on at his home in Bonn on Thursday.

The sudden death of the Radio Journalist was announced through the official social media accounts of DW.

“Mkuu na watangazaji wa idhaa ya Kiswahili ya DW tunasikitika kutangaza msiba mkubwa wa kuondokewa na mfanyakazi mwenzetu Isaac Muyenjwa Gamba, aliyefariki dunia akiwa nyumbani kwake mjini Bonn. Kwake Mola tumetoka na kwake tutarejea. Tunaomboleza pamoja na familia. Mungu amlaze mahala pema peponi. Ameen” Reads the announcement.

Deutsche Welle or DW is Germany’s public international broadcaster. It broadcast in more than 30 languages. DW’s satellite television service consists of channels in English, German, Spanish, French, Kiswahili, Hausa, Arabic among others.

Its Swahili Radio station is controlled by Journalists from East Africa, Mostly Kenya and Tanzania.

Kenyan Journalists Caro Robi and Former KTN anchor Edith Kimani are among the many East Africa’s who work for DW.
