Ghana: I’m Famous Because I Share God’s Word But Not Because of Controversy – Artist, Shatta Wale

the Ghanaian Self-acclaimed DanceHall King Charles Nii Armah Mensah well known by his stage name as Shatta Wale says he has succeeded in making people listen to him because he always shares God’s word.

This may come as a surprise to many considering the genres of his music and exactly what he does.

Speaking in an exclusive interview, the Shatta Movement (SM) President said his talent is from God and that he has succeeded in the industry because he listens to God and shares his word as well.

“People are saying like I’m popular because of controversy that not true. Anytime I talk on radio people crave to listen to me not because I’m going to sing to them but the word of God I share with them”. He said

According to Shatta Wale, “It is the kind of motivation I give, the kind of hope I give them. I let people know I have suffered before hence giving them the hope of making it in life. This is what is making me stand well. I don’t believe in controversy”.

Shatta Wale is out with his album ‘The Reign” which is receiving much acclamation.
