Lucky Mensah has revealed on GH Entertainment that, he chose to surrender the National Democratic Congress (NDC), because of the ineptitude showed by the Mahama drove organization.
As indicated by the artist, the administration of Mahama did not convey the required arrangements to change the lives of subjects subsequently his choice to join the battle group of President Nana Akufo-Addo.
He revealed to Prince Kwesi Dadzie otherwise known as Mr. Nice looking on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM that, ”I chose to battle for Akufo-Addo in light of the fact that Mahama was coming up short Ghanaians. He was not giving the required authority that was expected to give Ghanaians better openings.”
The way ‘dumsor’ was affecting Ghanaians was terrible and so I decided to return to Ghana from Canada so I could campaign for Nana Addo to provide a better leadership and alleviate the economic hardship ofP Ghanaians. When asked if his support for Nana Addo affected his career, he answered saying, campaigning for Nana Addo affected my career in a way but I’m not disappointed.
In September 2016, Lucky Mensah paid a visit to the residence of Nana Akufo-Addo to present him with a copy of his latest track, ‘Yeresesamu,’ that seeks to support the party’s 2016 election campaign.
In 2012, Lucky Mensah did ‘Atta Beye’ for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) but he has come out to say that the party gave him A Toyota Corolla instead of a 4×4 that was promised.
