A very prominent Ghanaian movie and entertainment star, Kwaku Twumasi has disclosed that, it got to a point in his life, when he openly asked God to take away his life.

The legendary movie star who was struck by stroke said, he didn’t want to be a burden to his family with his sickness.
Kwaku Twumasi, who was knocked off his feet by the sickness for over four years narrating his ordeal said, he felt totally hopeless and depressed to the point that he gave up on life.
“I would say that my family are more caring now. Something happened that made me resolve to live because I didn’t want to be a burden on them. But my son who was three years old then would always come to my bedside, hold my hand and pray for me, I was marveled, so I said I will not go now and leave my children”
The actor said even church people wondered what sin he had committed to merit such sickness.
He lamented that, until now he doesn’t even know how the sickness came to hit him, looking at how he suffered. He says he prays no one goes through what he has gone through.
Kwaku Twumasi said he doesn’t see himself sick anymore and will be coming out with great movies soon.
