A 29-year old paralysed groom has left the world stunned after he stood by himself to take his wedding vows.
The Bostonian man identified as James Thorpe was left paralysed after he was involved in an accident a little over a year ago.

But that did not stop him from walking his 33-year old lovely wife down the aisle in an elegant wedding hosted in Grantham.

Ceremony attendees who included friends and relatives were dazzled to see him pull himself to his feet without any assistance to say his vows.
Fascinatingly, the groom also managed to share a spontaneous and impassioned first dance with the groom – however, this time with aid of a special frame.

The couple was due to get married in 2016, but they forced to put postpone wedding arrangements after the groom tripped and fell while wading in the sea, leaving him with severe injuries that led to his paralysis.
