New reports have finally revealed Kerry Washington as one of the women Chris Rock had an affair with leading to the ruination of his marriage to the mother of his children, Malaak Compton-Rock.
Chris Rock and Kerry Washington starred in the ironically-titled film, I Think I Love My Wife, a movie where Rock’s character fantasized about cheating on his wife. Rock and Kerry kicked off their affair from there and were together for 6 months, before his wife found out.
Here’s what a source told Page Six:
“He was cheating on his wife with Kerry when they were filming [I Think I Love My Wife] about him, ironically, having fantasies of cheating on his wife. That went on for a while, for like six months, and she found out. There’s no grey area.”
Though the 2 stars are yet to react to the latest update, it is worthy to note that Rock had admitted to infidelities during his marriage. In an earlier interview with Rolling Stone, the comedian openly discussed his 3 flings, without naming names, and called himself, “a piece of shit.”
With his amazing performance as the host of the 88th Academy Awards in 2016 and the subsequent $40 million deal with Netflix last October, Rock is galloping at the peak of his career.
However, the old secrets are crawling out, roping in Kerry Washington who is currently married to Nigeria’s Nnamdi Asomugha – both of whom have two children together. The actress has always kept her private life private, even through all the rumour that her marriage to Asomugha hit the rocks.
Rock too is engaged to Nigerian actress Megalyn Echikunwoke. They tenaciously keep their relationship from the media, too.
