A man who claims to be the son of the late William Ole Ntimama on Tuesday moved to court and made an outrageous demand.
George Kariuki Njoroge alias Njoroge Ntimama, wants the body of the late Cabinet Minister exhumed so that a DNA test can be conducted to prove paternity.
In his suit, Njoroge urged the court to declare him a biological son of the late Maasai political kingpin and be allowed to officially use the name Ntimama.
The 60-year old is also seeking to be listed among beneficiaries of the vast property the late Ntimama left behind.
After the death of Ole Ntimama, Njoroge had filed another suit in an attempt to stop the burial until a DNA test was conducted but he failed in his attempt.
High Court judge Joseph Onguto ruled that the DNA test was not urgent enough to have the burial stopped.
Ntimama died peacefully in his sleep on September 1, at his home in Narok County.
He was laid to rest at his home in a burial ceremony that was attended by President Uhuru Kenyatta, Opposition leader Raila Odinga among other dignitaries.
Hundreds of Maasai mourners turned up for the burial donned in red shukas as a sign of respect for their kingpin.
