URP: CORD Leaders Cannot Be Trusted With The Country’s Leadership.

The United Republican Party (URP) has said that CORD leaders are mentally challenged and cannot be trusted with the country’s leadership.

URP Nakuru branch chairman, Joseph Bett said that CORD principals Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetang’ula cannot lead the country.

He added that the three should be locked up in a mental facility until they recover from their mental instability.

Speaking Wednesday morning in Nakuru town, Bett said that Raila, Kalonzo and Wetang’ula lost their mental well being after losing the 2017 general election, something that they least expected.

“If I were President Kenyatta, I would have locked them up in a special mental unit until the 2017 polls are over because if they continue behaving like they are doing now, they will lead Kenyans towards the wrong direction,” he added.

“As a leader at times you have to make hard decisions and this is the time the President must make some decisions that might hurt some people if indeed he is interested in maintaining peace in the country,” he said.

He warned that the ongoing protests can be a recipe for worse things to happen before, during and after the 2017 polls unless something drastic and urgent is done to mitigate the situation.

“Kenya almost burned and walked the Burundi way back in 2007/2008 and we do not want to go back their but if this IEBC thing is not sorted out and we continue with protests, then 2017 might even be worse than 2007/2008,” he said.
