A former member of Parliament has accused president Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto of diving the country into two different nations.
Former Rongai MP Luka Kigen said that the President Kenyatta’s government has split the country into two sides of those who voted for him and those who voted for the opposition.
Kigen said that mega development projects are being initiated in areas that voted for UhuRuto with areas that voted for the opposition getting almost nothing.
“Currently we have two nations in Kenya courtesy of the president and his deputy. They have perfected the art of dividing the country along tribal and party lines and this has created two small nations in kenya ,”said Kigen.
“We have a nation that voted for the government and which gets all the huge development projects, then we have a nation that voted for the opposition which gets almost nothing,” added.
Kigen added that Kenya will be worse after 2017 if the President and his deputy continue sidelining the opposition areas in the country.
He said that should Kenyatta win 2017 then Kenya might never be the same again.
“The way things stand in this nation it will get worse if Kenyatta wins in 2017 ,”he said
