The Caretaker Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Imo State has dissolved all party structures in all the wards and local government areas of the state.
The dissolution was announced on Tuesday by the Chairman of the Caretaker Committee, Vitalis Okafor.
He said the party would soon constitute caretaker committees in all the 27 local government areas of the state.
He added that committee would soon embark on wider consultations among its leaders in all the local government areas for the appointment of local government and ward caretaker committees.
He expressed gratitude to all executive members of the immediate past ward, local government and state executives for their support and steadfast in the midst of the rift within the PDP family.
