Nigeria: PDP, NEC To Determine Sheriff’s Tenure On Monday

Abuja – The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will meet on Monday to determine and ratify the tenure of Senator Ali Modu-Sheriff as National Chairman of the party.

This was disclosed on Thursday by the party’s National Secretary, Prof. Adewale Oladipo.

Sheriff was two weeks ago given initial three months by the party’s governors and Board of Trustees (BoT) to revive the party.

The party’s NEC still needs to ratify the decision.

Oladipo, who was speaking with journalists at the party’s secretariat, said the party’s NEC will be meeting  to take a definite stand on the tenure issue.

He also declared that all is now well with the party.
