Super Eagles Move One Step Up In FIFA Ranking.

Lagos – Nigeria has moved one step higher in the latest FIFA ranking released on Thursday by the world football governing body.

The Super Eagles are now ranked 62nd in the world, and 11th in Africa.

For the first time, Cape Verde top other African countries, displacing Ivory Coast to the 1st position on the continent and 31st in the world.

Algeria came 3rd, and are trailed by Ghana, Tunisia and Senegal.

Egypt, DR Congo, Congo and Cameroon complete the top ten teams in Africa.

Globally, the top 13 positions remain unchanged, with Belgium still sitting at the top, with Argentina, Spain, Germany and Chile holding on to the top five places.
