In a a fresh anti-gay campaign, President Yahya Jammeh of Gambia has threatened to slit the throat of gay men.
According to VICE NEWS, the President issued the threat while speaking during a tour stop last week in the country’s North Bank Region.
He said, ”If you do it [in the Gambia] I will slit your throat — if you are a man and want to marry another man in this country and we catch you, no one will ever set eyes on you again, and no white person can do anything about it”.
