Viral photos of Zimbabwean students posing in sexually suggestive manners in school while teachers are on strike, has triggered concern online.
While students have been ordered back to school after more than 7 months on lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic, teachers have refused to return due to a wage dispute with the government.
The teachers stated that they will not return to work until their wage demands are met. The photos shared online showed some students in sexually suggestive poses including kissing, flashing and fondling.
Some teachers have urged parents to withdraw their children from schools as learning institutions have become risky territory in their absence.
