Nigerian Artist, Folarin Falana AKA Falz the bahd guy has been releasing some controversial sounds that have got a lot of people talking.

His recent “This is Nigeria” generated so much controversy that led to its eventual ban. It would seem the artist intends to continue in the trend. He revealed this detail in an interview with Channels Television. According to the award-winning musician, the album he is soon going to release will shake a lot of tables.

But this is a conscious effort on his part as he feels there is the need to consciously make music that will tell stories and mirror the happenings in the society. “Right now I’m making a lot of controversial music. People need to hear our voices.”

Furthermore, the Child of the World crooner said he is not moved by what people will say about the songs when they are released as it was a norm for them to be that way.

“It’s always going to be like that, people are always going to get angry when you make that sort of music but those stories need to be told.”

In this sense, Falz urged other artists like him to speak up about the ills in the society just as he also reiterated that the promised controversial and conscious album will be released very soon.

“Our voices need to be projected in the positive direction as artists. It is something I will continue to do, I’m working on a fully conscious album which is dropping very soon.”
