A 23-year-old man has committed suicide in a house in Kiwanjani area of Isiolo town.
Area residents woke up to the shocking news of the discovery of the man’s body dangling from a rope in his house.
The deceased is said to have been a boda boda operator in Isiolo town who hailed from Tigania East Sub-County, Meru County.
According to eyewitnesses, the body of the deceased was discovered by a woman who had gone to visit him in his house.
A village elder, Japheth Mugambi said they suspect that the man might have been killed somewhere else and his body dumped in his house.
Isiolo sub-County Criminal Investigations Officer, Peter Ndubi confirmed the incident saying the man is suspected to have hanged himself since he had no injuries.
Ndubi said that the boda boda operator had left a note bidding his girlfriend goodbye.
