Entertainment and media house, Zylofon Media has revealed its intention to make a claim in the movie industry in Ghana. The entertainment house made their intentions clear and have gone on to sign 5 Ghanaians who star in movies.
The media outfit at a press briefing and unveiling of the movie stars said movie production was going to form part of their activities aside music production.
The five movie stars to who signed contracts with the media house include James Gardiner, Bibi Bright, Toosweet Annan, Zynnell Zuh and Benedicta Gafah.
They were unveiled at the premises of the media outfit on Friday. Benedicta Gafah was the only actress who was not present at the unveiling ceremony.they all signed three-year deals to act as ambassadors to drive the movie production ambitions of the outfit
Speaking at the press briefing, Zylofon Media’s Head of Communications, Samuel Atuobi Baah, said that the signing of the five actors was in line with the company’s vision of pursuing an agenda of “creative arts made in Ghana.”
He added that the movie stars were going to headline Zylofon movies and also assist the outfit to promote their movie production ambitions
He also revealed that the outfit had the franchise to organize the Ghana Movie Awards and it would be incumbent on them to also stake a claim in the movie industry.
The outfit in the next three years, is going to man-manage the movie stars and ensure that everything goes well in the end.
Zylofon Media is already making waves in the music industry after it signed on musicians including Kumi Guitar, Becca, Stonebwoy, Joyce Blessing and Obibini to their music department.
