Miss South Africa 2020 first runner-up, Thato Mosehle will be representing South Africa at the Miss Supranational pageant in 2021.
The 25-year-old medical doctor is in the final stages of preparations for the international pageant, which will take place on 21 August.
With only four weeks to go, the Miss South Africa organisation shared a sneak peek from Thato’s final Miss Supranational photoshoot on Instagram.
“We’re getting one step closer,” the organisation captioned the glamorous video.
Previously speaking to Channel24 about representing the country at Miss Supranational in Poland, Thato said she is “feeling very excited and happy”.
“South Africa will be part of this pageant for the first time ever under the Miss South Africa umbrella. I feel like I’m being given the privilege of holding the pen that will write the history for South African women in this competition,” she said.
As the country’s first representative under the Miss South Africa Organisation banner, Thato said: “I feel like I’m being given the privilege of holding the pen that will write the history for South African women.”
