On Saturday the 25th annual South African Music Awards took place at Sun City. The awards were attended by some of Mzansi’s famous faces who made sure to slay at the music industries big night.
The awards were filled with entertainment as hosts Melanie Bala, Bob Mabena, Twasa Seoke, Khuli Chana, Mpho Popps and Nomzamo Mbatha made sure those at the Superbowl and home were entertained through the show.

The collection of late rapper Jabulani ‘HHP’ Tsambo Lifetime Achievers Award was one award many people had their eyes glued to following the accusations levelled against his widow Lerato Sengadi by HHP’s former business partner Seabelo Modibe.
Modibe had alleged that Sengadi was using the late Motswako’s name for “publicity” and that she is not the late rapper’s “wife”. Sengadi fired back at the accusations in a lengthy statement where she let know that “it is disturbing that Mr Modibe has decided to conduct a media tour to slander my name contribution to this award.”
Many had thought Sengadi would collect her late husband’s award on Saturday but instead his son Leano Khanye collected the award through an acceptance video.
