Uhuru Pledges More Funding For IEBC

President Uhuru Kenyatta has promised that more funds will be allocated to the independent electoral and boundaries commission to enable of register more voters in the second phase.

Speaking Wednesday when he addressed residents in Molo town during his first day of the two day working tour in rift valley.

Uhuru said that his government is committed at ensuring that more Kenyan youth are registered as voters before next years polls.

“My government will look for more funds to be given to IEBC so that they can register as many voters as possible because its every Kenyans right to vote,”said Uhuru.

“However you must take identification cards and those issuing them should stop complicating the process,”he added. The president was accompanied by his deputy William Ruto.
