Uganda’s Daniel Kaluuya shines at the 2021 Golden Globe Awards

Ugandan – British, actor, comedian and author, Daniel Kaluuya’s career has been illuminated with a special recognition at the 2021 Golden Globe Awards.

On Sunday, February, 28, 2021, Daniel featured among the biggest names from the big and small screen to be embraced in the awarding season.

Daniel grabbed the award for the ‘Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in Any Motion Picture’ in his ‘Judas and the Black Messiah’ movie.

Congratulations to Daniel Kaluuya – Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in Any Motion Picture – Judas and the Black Messiah,” reads a tweet from Golden Globe Awards.

Under the same category, Kaluuya beat; Sacha Baron Cohen (The Trial of the Chicago 7), Jared Leto (The Little Things), Bill Murray (On the Rocks), and Leslie Odom, Jr (One Night in Miami).


Unlike the previous seasons, this year’s show was hosted virtually by Amy Poehler at the Beverly Hilton Hotel and Tina Fey in New York City’s Rainbow Room at Rockefeller Center.
