It’s just 20 days past the half year, but looks like the year is still claiming more especially the famous and celebrities.
It started with the Assistant Inspector General of Police Andrew Felix Kaweesi on March 17, 2017 who was shot at in his official vehicle together with his bodyguard and driver a few yards from his home in Kulambiro.
Two months later, Zari’s ex husband, Ivan Semwanga, followed after a very short illness. He died on May 25, 2017, it was a week of mourning and before he was buried, the proprietor of St. Lawrence schools, Prof. Lawrence Mukiibi died on May 28, 2017.
On June 01, Carol Atuhaire who had been battling with cancer for over a year breathed her last in India.
On June 24, 2017 a former Minister, Maria Mutagamba succumbed to liver cancer at Case Hospital.
On July 03, 2017 former Kampala Mayor John Ssebaana Kizito died at Nakasero Hospital.
On July 08, 2017 Iganga Woman Member of Parliament Hailat Kaudha followed with complications from High Blood Pressure.
On July 08, 2017 Bon Appetit proprietor, Gera Mulira Mosha, also former Kampala Mayor Alhajj Nasser Ntege Sebagala’s ex-wife died.
On July 19, 2017 renowned radio presenter, Mulindwa Muwonge died of high blood pressure after a week.
On July 20, 2017 Zari’s mom, Sultan Hassan died from Nakasero hospital where she was battling with diabetes and high blood pressure.
