Trevor Noah, Nomzamo Mbatha, Dave Chappelle to Host ‘Global Citizen Festival: Mandela 100’ in South Africa

The lineup including Beyonce, JAY-Z, Wizkid, D’banj, Tiwa Savage, Femi Kuti and more for the 2018 Global Citizen Festival was revealed a few weeks ago and it looks like the list has gotten bigger.

Set to hold in South Africa, this year’s event will celebrate Nelson Mandela’s 100th birthday anniversary and call for an end to extreme poverty across the world.

South African comedian and host of The Daily Show, Trevor Noah has been annonuced as the host for the event and will be joned by Amrican comedian and actor Dave Chappelle, as well as award-winning actress Nomzamo Mbatha.

The lineup of co-hosts will also feature Naomi Campbell, Sir Bob Geldof, Gayle King, Bonang Matheba, Tyler Perry, and Forest Whitaker while Oprah Winfrey will deliver a special keynote address remembering Nelson Mandela and his legacy.
