Tanzania’s Clouds Media fraternity has been thrown into mourning again after laying to rest their boss Ruge Mutahaba.
According to reports, Ephraem Kibonde, a presenter with Clouds FM. He died early this morning after being rushed to Bugando Hospital in Mwanza after falling ill as he bid Mutahaba farewell on Saturday.
The radio presenter is said to have suffered high blood pressure during the burial of his boss in Bukoba.
“Tukiwa bado na majeraha mabichi ya msiba wa Mkurugenzi wetu wa Vipindi na Uzalishaji #RugeMutahaba, kwa masikitiko makubwa tunatangaza kifo cha Mtangazaji wetu #EphraimKibonde kilichotokea alfajiri ya leo (Machi 7 2019)
“Tunamtukuza Mungu kwa Maisha ya Kibonde, na kumuomba yeye ampokee na kumpuzisha katika makao ya amani ya milele.
“Tutaendelea kuwapa taarifa zaidi kuhusiana na msiba huu. Bwana Ametoa, Bwana Ametwaa, Jina lake Lihimidiwe,” read a statement from Mwanza commissioner John Mongella.
Born in 1970 in Brooklyn, New York, United States, Ruge Mutahaba was the CEO and co-founder of Clouds Media.
Mutahaba died of kidney failure while getting treatment in South Africa and was eulogized by many, including President John Pombe Magufuli, as a great leader, entrepreneur and social influencer who changed Tanzania.
