Tamaryn Green After Miss Universe Success: ‘I’m Excited To Come Home’

In the wake of winning her place in the best three at the Miss Universe event, Tamaryn Green imparted a message to fans via web-based networking media expressing gratitude toward them for their proceeded with help.

Tamaryn made South Africa pleased when she was named first sprinter up at the 67th Miss Universe show in Thailand, with the crown going to Catriona Gray from the Philippines.

“This one goes out to everyone who showed me so much love and support throughout the competition. I could not have done it without you. You installed so much confidence in me to go out there and just have fun. Representing my country has been one of the biggest privileges,” the beauty queen said in a message to her fans on Tuesday.

But this is not the end of the road for Tamaryn, as the reigning Miss South Africa the star promises to keep doing her part for the country.

“It’s not the end, I’m still going to go out there continue empowering women. I’m going to continue with my #BreakTheStigma campaign and encourage people to have the courage to share their stories. I’m excited to go home and see my South African family, but I just want to say thank you very much. It’s been such a special time in my life.”
