DJ Black Coffee has raised the South African flag high once more after he wins the Best Deep House DJ trophy at the 2017 DJ Awards held in Ibiza on Tuesday.
This year marked the third time that the DJ walked away with an award, beating the likes of Bedouin, Damian Lazarus, Matthia Meyer, Maya Jane Coles, Patrice Baumel, Lee Foss and Lee Burridge.
Ahead of the awards‚ his manager Amaru Da Costa said that the DJ “couldn’t be happier” with the nomination.
“It is a big deal for him and for us as a team. We take these awards very seriously and it is an honor to represent South Africa. This is just further proof of Black Coffee’s impact on the international stage and we are delighted with the recognition he is receiving.”
Black Coffee took to social media to thank fans for the continued support. He wrote: “One more for the culture. Thank you for the votes, love and continued support.”
