Rapper, T.I. Won’t Be Part Of New ‘Ant-Man’ Film

T.I. will not return for Marvel’s Ant-Man 3. The rapper played Dave – a member of Scott Lang’s (Paul Rudd) crew – in the franchise’s previous two instalments.

Variety reports that the 40-year-old was not slated to return despite the suggestion that recent abuse allegations had something to do with the decision.

T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris, and his wife Tameka ‘Tiny’ Harris face allegations of sexual abuse and drugging by multiple women. On Monday, an attorney representing 11 alleged victims called for California and Georgia authorities to open an investigation, reports The Hollywood Reporter.

Allegations first surfaced in February when Sabrina Peterson accused T.I. of putting a gun against her head. Since sharing her story, more women shared their accounts of alleged abuse, including trafficking, drugging and coercion. The couple has denied the allegations.

Following the allegations, MTV shut down filming of the fourth season of their reality series, T.I & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle.
