A member of the Ekiti State House of Assembly has been handed a long term suspension legislative duties over allegations of a wrong doing.
Gboyega Aribisogan, an Ekiti State lawmaker has been suspended by the State House of Assembly.
The suspension was given today, Thursday.
Mr Aribisogan is the lawmaker representing the Ikole 1 constituency in the state.
According to The Punch, he was suspended for 180 legislative days for alleged anti-party activities.
Aribisogan’s travails is said to be connect to his alleged visit to All Progressive Congress Senator, Buruji Kashamu and lawyer, Femi Falana (SAN), who are both perceived political enemies of the State Governor, Ayo Fayose.
The PDP dominated State House of Assembly have in otherwords viewed Aribisogan’s gesture as a conduct against the legislative house who are suspicious of his move to decamp to the APC.
