Paul Pogba is currently flying to England to complete his multi-million pound deal with Manchester United.
The 23-year-old former Red Devil, who has been a phenomenon for France and Juve in recent seasons, has been United’s main target during the current transfer window.
According to Sky Sports, the midfielder “boarded a private jet at Nice airport” as he is set to undergo a medical at United’s Carington training ground.
Pogba is expected to complete a £110m move back to Old Trafford on a five-year contract in the coming days, having famously left the English giants on a free transfer in 2012 to move to Turin.
Bianconeri boss Massimiliano Allegri had summoned the France international to train with the Serie A champions on Monday, but negotiations with the Red Devils were stepped up over the weekend.
A statement on United’s official website read: “Paul Pogba has been granted permission to have a medical in order to finalise his transfer from Juventus to Manchester United.”
Pogba is not, however, expected to start in their Premier League opener against Bournemouth next Sunday.
