Nigerian transgender, Miss Sahhara has slammed Miss Universe 2008, Dayana Mendoza, for saying that God considers homosexuality an abomination.

 

The former beauty queen who evangelises on social media, stated this when she replied an Instagram user @peter.missologie after he questioned her about homosexuality.

 

“Regarding this matter, God says it is an abomination,” she replied. “God loves the sinner and hates sin,”

 

Reacting to Mendoza’s statement on Wednesday, June 22, the Benue-born former beauty queen said there would be no pageants if not for LGBT people.

“IF IT WERENT FOR LGBT PEOPLE THERE WOULD BE NO PAGEANTS! SHE OWES HER WINNING TO THE COMMUNITY SHE IS BASHING WITH THE BIBLE! #useless. In the middle of Pride month, Dayana Mendoza, former Miss Universe 2008, is in the eye of the hurricane for her position towards the LGBTTI+ community,” Miss Sahhara wrote.
