Nigerian Singer Burna Boy Jumps Into Debate On Church Offering, Warns Fans

Self-acclaimed African giant, Burna Boy, has waded into the controversial debate on the importance of paying church offerings.

The ‘Ye’ singer cautioned his fans against playing with their church offerings as he strongly believes church offerings belong to God.

He jumped into the debate in a tweet. However, some of his fans have divergent views.

Some of Burna Boy’s fans have argued that giving to the less-privileged in society was better than giving to the church.

They claimed that the offerings make pastors rich.

Burna had tweeted: “Offering wey people dey give for church na God get am o. No go use PAPA GOD money play o #EgetWhy.”
