New York: Crew Member Executed Amid Recording Of Power TV Show

A creation collaborator on the Starz arranges dramatization arrangement Power has been struck and murdered by a vehicle while setting up activity cones for a film generation in Brooklyn.

Police say 63-year-old Pedro Jimenez, of Manhattan, was articulated dead at a clinic following the mishap just before 4:30 a.m. Monday in the Boerum Hill neighborhood.

Police say the 64-year-old driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene. There have been no captures.

A Starz spokeswoman says that the network is “deeply saddened” by the death and that thoughts are with the Jimenez family.

Production on the series has been suspended. It isn’t clear when production will resume.

Power stars Omari Hardwick as a drug kingpin and nightclub owner.

Rapper 50 Cent who is one of the executive producers of the show paid tribute to Jimenez.

He wrote on Instagram: “I just learned we lost Pedro Jimenez, a member of the Power production team early this morning. My prayers and condolences are with the entire Jimenez family.”
