Naya Rivera will make an appearance on the Netflix baking reality competition show Sugar Rush.
Season 3 of the popular series releases on the streaming service on Friday, 31 July.
According to Deadline the Glee actor will appear as a guest judge alongside host Hunter March and judges Candace Nelson and Adriano Zumbo.
The episode was filmed in February before television productions were shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic.
On 8 July Naya was reported missing after her son Josey was found alone, asleep in a boat on Lake Piru in California. Her body was recovered on 23 July with the cause of death later confirmed to be an accidental drowning.
CNN reports that she was laid to rest at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park on 24 July.
Netflix reportedly consulted with her manager Gladys Gonzalez on whether to proceed with the release of the episode and was given the go-ahead.
The episode will be dedicated to Naya and will have an on-screen tribute honouring her before the opening credits.
In Sugar Rush, four teams of bakers put their baking skills to the test to win the $15 000 grand prize.
