With the legalisation of cannabis in some parts of the U.S, it is no wonder some celebrities are seeing it as a viable business to venture into.
As lighter flicks oftentimes signify the start of his verses, it is safe to say Lil Wayne is among the smoking connoisseurs like Snoop Dogg. Not only is he a fan of weed and the euphoria that comes with it, Lil Wayne is also now actively getting involved in the marijuana industry, as he announced on Monday, December 2.
The rapper via his Instagram paged announced the launch of his GKUA Ultra Premium cannabis brand.
All of the products being rolled out in the coming months have been approved by Wayne himself, which includes their limited-edition Hollygrove flower strain, vape batteries, and cartridges, as well as potent concentrates.
In a statement shared by Lil Wayne, he said:
“I used to just want to get high, now I smoke to get inspired. With GKUA, I’m sharing a feeling that I love”.
Recall in November, Drake also ventured into cannabis business legally and announced the launch of his company which he named “More Life Growth Co.” off his 2017 mixtape More Life. Asides that, he will also be trying his hands on herbal teas for medicinal, recreational purposes and medicinal herb extracts.
Snopp Dogg is another rapper that has since ventured into the cannabis business.
