Local and international thespians led by Kenneth Ambani(Baraza) converged at Matano Manne village in Kilifi County on Saturday,September 30 2017 to send-off one of their own.
As reported by TUKO, sorrow engulfed the country recently following the untimely demise of Kenyan actress Maureen Wanza,who died while ushering a new soul into the world.
Late Wanza,who is known for her superb performances in a number of local dramas such as ‘Sumu’ and ‘Moyo’ was given an emotional send-off that befits her status judging by countless photos from her burial that have fast gone viral online.
Family members ,friends,fans and colleagues from the film industry from as far as Tanzania and Zimbabwe eulogized the late Maureen as hardworking, friendly and ever jovial.
Wanza has left behind a 9-year-old boy.The late would have left two children if the baby she was delivering when she died would have survived.
Wanza is a revered Kenyan thespian has made appearances in a number of regional and National programs such as Kenya’s favorite ‘Moyo Series’ that airs on Citizen TV and ‘Sumu’ that airs on K24.
Before her death, Wanza worked with big names in the TV industry including ,Ken Ambani(Baraza),Henry Lenga, Simiyu Barasa, Osborn Muga and among others.
