Hilda Gacheri broke the internet a few days after the government banned the use of plastic bags in Kenya about a fortnight ago.
The young girl who couldn’t afford a proper school bag to carry her shopping while she reported back to school was spotted carrying her shopping in a shopping bag made from banana fritters.
Her pictures immediately went viral with people calling out NEMA to look into her situation.
