Kenyan Rapper, Msupa S Speaks on Performing at Nyayo, Missing to Entertain President Uhuru


The Kenyan rapper Sandra Chebet better known as Msupa S is on top of the world after her début performance at Nyayo Stadium on Wednesday during the Jamhuri Day celebrations.

Speaking in an interview, an ecstatic Msupa narrated that it was the best feeling ever to be part of the national celebrations, perform at its grand stage and be viewed by millions countrywide.

She added that she was happy that her efforts were getting recognized and grateful that she was on an up trajectory courtesy of her fans.

“It was amazing. Being there was everything I ever wanted. I never dreamt it would happen this fast but I believe in myself and I delivered yesterday,” she said.

On missing to perform for President Uhuru Kenyatta due to the slot she was allocated to, she said, “I performed early in the morning, I would have loved to do that. I am not disappointed about not performing for the Head of State but it was a fulfilling moment that I am grateful for.”

On Instagram, her excitement was also visible during her big day.

“Wau, we thank God this morning for letting us see this day, and we thank PPMC for giving us the chance to perform at Nyayo stadium come join us,” she captioned a photo she took with gospel star Jabidii.
