Kenyan on-screen character Jamal Nassul Gadafi is dead. Jamal played “Baba Junior” on KTN Home’s TV drama series “Junior.”
The program airs on Sunday’s at 7:30 pm.
Reports say Jamal succumbed to knife wounds during a fight that took place during a party in a hotel located in Syokimau, Machakos County.
Eyewitness reports say Jamal quarrelled with a female acquaintance and was stabbed in the ensuing scuffle.
“We are saddened to learn about the tragic death of Jamal Nassul . He was a versatile actor and previously starred in the ‘Junior’ TV series, playing the role of Baba Junior. Our prayers go out to his family and friends at this difficult moment,” said KTN Managing Director, Joe Munene.
Jamal won ‘Best Performance in a Comedy’ Award during the 2017 Kalasha Awards.
An actor with a promising future, Jamal also featured as the judge in popular court drama series “Vioja Mahakamani” that airs on KBC.
