Kenyan Comedian, Eric Omondi Speaks on Why he Has Not Publicly Supported Maribe

Comedian Eric Omondi has spoken on the reason he has not publicly supported his ex-girlfriend Jacque Maribe in her ongoing murder case.
According to the funny man, as soon as Ms. Maribe’s case is concluded, he will give details on why he has not been in court to support Maribe like most of her friends and colleagues.

“When this Jacque Maribe affair ends, I will give you an interview for this particular story,” said Eric while speaking to a local daily.

His words come even as the TV journalist and her fiancé Joseph Irungu are set to appear in court for their bail application ruling today.

A few days after Maribe’s arrest, Omondi was brought to task on whether he was the Citizen TV journalist’s baby daddy, something he did not deny or confirm, saying that he knew who the father was but it was not a good time to reveal him.

“I know the baby daddy however, it is not a good time to reveal him, Jacque Maribe is undergoing a difficult time,” he said.

Omondi and Maribe are said to have been dating in 2014 before they parted ways.
