Kenyan Rapper King Kaka has been up and down lately preparing for the grand release of the fifth album, “Eastlando Royalty”, scheduled for November 30 at Uhuru Gardens.
Fellow rapper Khaligraph Jones, who successfully released his album “Testimony 1990” mid this year, has offered to assist him in making the launch a success after waiting in vain for a request from the rapper.
On social media, Jones sent a post saying he’s more than ready to help King Kaka in the launch.
“Lakini buda @thekingkaka why are you not involving some of us in these things, we are representing the same culture and I understand the amount of effort it takes to put an album together,” Khaligraph told King Kaka.
“Personally am proud and happy to see KE Hip Hop make these kinds of moves lakini tuhusishe wengine wetu ndio tuweze piga kelele pamoja, Eastlando Royalty dropping soon, are you ready?”
‘Eastlando Royalty’ has 18 songs on the physical copy and 22 on the digital version.
During the week, King Kaka has been in and out of different universities giving talks and sharing his journey that has led to the album.
He told Khaligraph that it’s because of this tight schedule that a VVIP invite hasn’t landed on his desk but will be more than glad to work with him.
He even suggested they should hit the studio once done with the album’s shenanigans.
“@Khaligraphjones Kwa hiyo story nimekubayia tiko mbili VIP ukuje tuone The Culture , iza nimekuwa up and down si unaelewa mambo ya album. Karibu budah. Wacha ata nimalize album tuingie studio” said King Kaka.
“@thekingkaka ushasema Baba, more Blessings. Tunakuja uko kusupport baba #EastlandoRoyalty” replied Khaligraph Jones.
