Introducing Landry Omer José Guehi from Cote d’ Ivoire, One of AMFEST EXPO Lagos Ambassadors

Landry Guehi is a young, passionate, and eclectic leader. After obtaining several degrees and certificates in different areas of knowledge and with his passion for change, he decided to make a commitment to becoming a social activist.

He is now involved with several projects and programs for young people. Very fast, his leadership was recognized on a national level and since 2012, he has led the Network of Associations for Voluntary Service in Côte d’Ivoire. This network includes more than 50 organizations and works with the government and UN agencies to set up a national program of voluntary service. Landry Guehi is also behind the Tomorrow magazine project. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship his ambition is to give to the youth of his country a voice and present their initiatives. He would ideally like to open a radio station especially dedicated to the youth.

Landry Guehi is also one of AMFEST Lagos Ambassadors.

The goal of AMFEST EXPO is to organise the African creative industry, build a bridge between her practitioners and the global business ecosystems, to foster growth in culture and business exchange among all stakeholders. Maybe one day, we will see African delicacies in the menu books of 5star restaurants around the world to cater for a growing African consumers in those areas. Maybe we will have an African Musician closing Coachella and Glastonbury Festivals. Maybe soon we will have African creative directors in Valentino, Oscar de Larenta etc. Maybe we will have Paramount pictures distributing African produced films soon. We hope to start what consummates into such relationships in the next 5 years.
