Ghanaian singer, Joey B has asked musicians Kwaw Kese and Shatta Wale to smoke the peace pipe.
According to him, he doesn’t think holding grudges in the music industry is not healthy hence Kwaw and Shatta must unite to bring peace.
Joey told Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM that issues in the industry must be amicably addressed and not by waging “war”.
He cited how he rather approached Yaa Pono to jump onto his song although he had dissed him many times.
“If you have something on your mind, you call each other and thrash it than coming out [publicly]. This kind of thing doesn’t make us grow. I feel like they are old gees and there is no need. They need to set an example. No I don’t support beef. Yaa Pono dissed me so many times. I have never replied him. Bar for bar he really raps. I can go head to head with him but I will never disrespect him. I gave him a song and told him I need a verse. You kill anger with love. That’s how it’s supposed to be…” he advised.
Interestingly, asked if he will never reply any lyrical jab at him, Joey said: “Maybe I might throw a small cute subliminally one. Literally, it’s healthy but I don’t like it…”
