Ghana’s Hiplife artiste Ex-Doe is of the assertion that, current ‘beefs’ in the music scene are unintelligent.
According to the rapper, he is unhappy with the manner in which ‘beef’ are done in recent times.
He made this assertion in an interview on an Accra based radio station.
The ‘Maba’ hitmaker said the insults used in current ‘beef’ are very wrong and some can even insult another’s mother in a ‘diss’ song which is very barbaric.
He indirectly waded into the Shatta Wale – Stonebwoy brouhaha by saying that when someone is mourning his mother’s death, “you don’t have to come out to say he killed his own mother.”
Ex-Doe opined that ‘diss’ songs have to be done with some level of intelligence so that when people with wisdom listen to it, they will know what you mean and whom you are referring to.
“I don’t think anyone can take the title of ‘beefing’ from our time, he bragged.
Ex-Doe had one of the most trending and the long-standing ‘ beef’ with fellow musician and friend Chicago in the 90’s.
During those days, ‘diss’ songs were a delight to listen to.
