Ghana: Stop Calling Secular Artist an Evil Persons – Rapper, Stonebwoy

The Popular Ghanaian Bhimnation General, Stonebwoy has responded to the deplorable labeling of secular artists as insidious people who produce music that is fit for the devil.

Reacting to condemnation of his music being played in a local church in Ghana in a video, he observed that there is nothing demonic about some songs produced by these musicians arguing that their songs have ‘seed’ in them compared to the gospel music of today.

“Nobody complains when gospel music is played in the pub or at the bar but when secular music that is popular among the people is played in the church people go haywire”, he observed.

He was full of praise for churches that do not segregate but consume secular music and not tagging it as evil reiterating that the church is not the physical structure of a building but the human body which has been accepted as the temple of God.

“Leave the churches alone, the body of Christ is you and I. let us not use the opportunity to express hate or ignorance towards the church or its people, Christians or people who have a certain belief and are open-minded as well. Remember that the body of Christ is actually not the temple sitting out there it’s you. The temple of God is the body you have…your body my body and only God knows what we do to our bodies on daily basis.”
