Ghana: My Family Was Never in Support me of Being a Journalist – Sammy Flex

The CEO and chief editor of the award-winning Ghanaian entertainment newspaper, Flex Newspaper, Samuel Atuobi Baah known professionally as Sammy Flex has revealed that his family supported his desire to be a journalist.

According to him, his family members weren’t happy with his decision to be a journalist and yet had no solid reason.

When asked whether his family were happy with his work as a journalist, he said, “My family didn’t agree to my dream of becoming a journalist, and they had no proper reason. At times, you should listen to yourself, it’s important. See now, who I am now,”

Sammy first started as a writer of his self-owned newspaper Flex Newspaper, along the line, he worked as a radio and TV pundit for a number of radio and tv stations. He later joined Zylofon Media as their manager, and host for Showbiz Agenda.
