Famous music maker Hammer (of The Last Two) has surrendered from his post as the Director of Hiplife at the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA).
The maker settled on this choice known amid a meeting on Behind the Fame on Drive Time on Joy FM with Lexis Bill on Monday.
Sledge, conceived Edward Nana Poku Osei, was selected by MUSIGA President Bice Osei Kuffour (Obour) around two years back to oversee and create hiplife in Ghana.
But the producer says after several frantic efforts to start work, he decided to resign from the post.
“My office never had a budget to do anything,” he told Lexis Bill and adding “I was treated like a little boy.”
According to him, he was at the offices of MUSIGA to find out where he could put his stuff to run the office but he kept getting excuses.
He said he was supposed to be ‘the go-to guy when it comes to these [hiplife] but “I haven’t worked because it didn’t make sense to me”
“Obour is my friend, I spoke to him a couple of times…he is my boy…I respect him a lot,” but nothing was happening, a disappointed Hammer said.
