CNN Names Nigerian Musician, Burna Boy In List Of Africa’s Biggest Music Stars

The barrier between Nigerian and foreign music has been bridged as talents such as Davido, Wizkid, Burna Boy and more continue to put the country on the world’s music map.

Just recently, popular American news television, CNN, released a list of 10 biggest artistes in Africa and it comes as no surprise that Nigerian stars made and even dominated the list.

The Nigerian entertainers on the list include Burna Boy, Wizkid, Mr Eazi, Tiwa Savage and Yemi Alade.

However, it was a bit surprising that Omo Baba Olowo star, Davido, did not make the cut for CNN.

Davido is no doubt one of the big artistes in the country also achieving great feats worldwide. Other African acts such as Anjelique Kidjo, Diamond Platnumz, Sho Madjozi also made the list.
